The first Dorothy Snot preschool & kindergarten opened its doors on November 2008 in 175a Ippokratous street, very downtown Athens. The building was a beautiful old mansion, bearing though a capacity of just 90 kids.

In 2017, the school was transferred to the historical building of 115 Kyprou street in Kypseli, Athens. This 2,000 sq.m old school with 1,300 sq.m. of yards used to be home for “Elliniki Paidia”, a conservative, religious oriented private Greek school.

In 2023, a second Dorothy Snot preschool opened in the neighborhood of Nea Smyrni in Athens, under the name Dorothy Snot South. This building also used to be home for another Greek private school called “Palladion”, bearing 1,000 sq.m. of indoor space and 800 sq.m. of yards.

During the last 18 years, the founders of Dorothy Snot have proved their capability to build from scratch successful, urban preschools oriented towards a play-based approach. A unique educational approach & a strong domestic & international network of associates have been weaved over time, turning Dorothy Snot preschools & kindergartens as the absolute leader in Greek early education market.

Future plans include the possibility of establishing a third corporate-owned school in the area of Western Athens, as well as the cooperation with some renowned international operator to the take the Dorothy Snot early education concept, abroad.

As of today, the founders of DS Education Group still hold 100% of Dorothy Snot preschool & Kindergarten shares.
